I cut the muffler off at the final bend of the pipe. welded on 2.50 exhaust and a 3 inch stainless tip. took the cover off the air box and installed an open air filter. Immediate gain of fuel mileage. Runs "more free" feels like horse power has been let loose. no more back pressure. total cost under 160 bucks. does not sound bad at all.
