Hi guys. New on here. Great forum by the way. I was wondering if anyone out there knew how to take off the deck vent cover on the H3's. Mine has a stainless steel overlay with handles. I want to add a custom fiberglass hood scoop similiar to the H1. Then want to make it functional with a custom fabricated intake to match. Any help is greatly appreciated.

it just pops right off... you can help it along on the underside of the hood with a pair of pliers pushing the metal side taps together. but you can't get to all of them. but once you get the sides released you can just pop it right off...Mike
