Just finishing a purchase of a 2006 Alpha Open Top

Getting it inspected this week

Seller says the "diff light" is coming on intermittently

Also saying the ABS light is coming on due to a code that wasn't cleared previously

I'm taking it into the local GMC dealer who used to be a Hummer dealer, but am a bit nervous they'll have the right expertise to diagnose properly

Any suggestions on what I should ask the tech to be aware of?

Diff light? ABS light on could be cheap to expensive depending on the issue. Too bad that they removed the stock wheels. Which dealer are you taking it to?

 

Yes, I will definitely go get some original wheels, i'm really not a fan of those ones at all

I'm taking it to the local GMC Dealer, 2 of their Techs apparently have H1 experience (they used to be the Hummer dealer)

Any suggestions where to get the OEM Wheels?

 

Try Tilo at Eurocar | Costa Mesa, California. He sells quite a few Alphas and many of his buyers like the bling bling wheels so it isn't unusual for him to have a takeoff set.
