2005 H2 constant compressor on!!! Please Help
hi guys, newbie here.
i have a 2005 H2.
last week after a slushy snow storm, i drove through some big puddles on the street.
i did a big splash and a few minutes after that i got a message on my dash saying that i might have air suspension problems
after i turned on and off again, the message disappeard.
went home and left it on the drive way
that was about a week ago, i tried to start and move it today and the battery was dead.
jumped it and it started, when i turned off the ignition again, i noticed the compressor in the back running.....which i thought was normal for a short period...........but it would click off and then start again right away...........and continue on and on.......i'm assuming this is what killed the battery.
i tried to start the battery after about sitting in the car for 5 minutes with the compressor running.....needless to say.....deadski!!!!
so after making sure my rear ride height button was off, and my compressor button was off in the back, i proceeded to pull out the air suspension fuse from under the hood cluster.
obviously the air suspension will not operate
Anybody have any other ideas? or is this a 'go to the dealer' and fix it thing?
or can i ride without the airsuspension? and if so will it affect the vehicle........i do not go offroading.
thanks

Well it sounds like you are defiantly having some problems. You can ride without the air suspension but it is ill advised. It will affect the over all safety of the ride. I wouldn't recommend going to the dealer for this, as they are known for charging an arm and a leg for this type of fix. I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and checking out the Air Suspension Conversion kit. Strut Masters uses powder coated American made steel coil springs that are guaranteed to last the life or your car. This is a PERMANENT fix as opposed to just getting a new airbag or compressor. I posted the link below so you can check it out.

I hope I was of some help.
Good Luck!!
