Great news, my personal State Farm agent got involved in my claim, I gave her copies of my receipts of all the extra things I added to my H2 and since all the extras are relatively new, their worth more. So all that value just pushed my H2 into the safe zone for repairs!!!! My agent went to bat for me and has authorized my H2 to be fixed, and NOT totaled. Im the happiest person in Ohio right now! They haven't told me the new assessed value for my H2, all she said was that they have called my dealer and they will begin repairs tomorrow! Im glad I put all that hard work and extras into my H2, it finally paid off and saved my H2. Thanks for all the replies, I will be sure to update you all on the repair process and how long it takes. Hopefully I can snap a few pictures of the repair process. It will be nice to see her restored to her former glory!

Thanks! Don't worry I wont forget the pictures, it will be a new experience to see my H2's tear down. Seeing how it all fits back together and seeing it for myself will be exciting, especially once it's all done and she's finally put back together.

Hi everyone, I didn't forget to follow up with this thread or post pictures. It's just taken a while to get everything in motion. My H2 is being fixed at a local body shop in my town and they've been great so far. My dealership could not do the repairs on my H2 because they are not equipped for it. I know, a strange excuse from a dealer but none the less I'm getting it fixed. I was just there Monday to see them working on it, they took off everything up front, which was mostly cosmetic damage, and now they are waiting on the parts to arrive. They are going to repaint as soon as the parts come in and re-rust proof everything up front. I forgot to post pictures of the front of my H2 torn down but I'm going to try and go back this week and snap a few pictures of it. I can't wait until its finished so I can drive her again. I hate my rental, it's embarrassing.

Talking Better Late then Never!

Well almost 2 years past I didn't forget, by the time I had a free day to go back to the collision center it was already being put back together, very well I can say! Even after all this time everything's truly factory quality, no issues whatsoever on their craftsmanship and quality of the repairs. It truly was only superficial repairs and replacements. No damage to the frame or anything structurally once my collision center tore down into everything, they were very impressed by how well everything seem to perform and held up as well. I do however have ONE picture of the repair process, but as you can see it was already done but just waiting at that moment for them to put the front bumper on last. Better late then never I always say! O and as a side note the hood wasn't latched in the picture so that's why it may seem not quite right up at the top toward the "air breathers".
