Are you the same Humtech in the above thread from Elcova?

What are the odds?!

Anyway I'll test it tomorrow with a test light. It's pretty late here in Poland. Already found used fuse boxes on our local "ebay" ranging from 40$ - 100$ they are covered by the 14 days no questions asked return so might give that a go if the test will fail.

I feel relieved knowing what the actual issue is rather than throwing money at parts I don't need.

Cheers.

Oh. btw is the fuse box pretty straight forward to install or will I need someone to do it for me ? I'd like to point out that my troubleshooting skills are limited to whacking the non working appliance until it takes effect.

Yes the same one. Its not too difficult to change but if you know someone who can do it be a good idea to maybe get a hand.

My buddy already agreed to assist me on this. He's pretty handy with electronics so I think that will do.

I'm currently in the office so I didn't have a chance to test that fuse for power yet. I did pack my multimeter with me so I'll do it first thing I get back.

Do you guys know what could be causing this in the 1st place ? I found 2 threads with the same issue and they both were related to a 2003 H2 just like mine. Was the fuse box faulty or did my DRL mod could have caused this. I did have it installed for over a year now and I didn't have any of those symptoms. Just want to prevent the same thing happening once I will have to replace the fuse box.

Update

Ok I've checked the power to the PCM 1 fuse and it seems to get voltage.

Any other gueses ? Could it be the fuel pump or the ignition switch ?

Lots of folks have had the ignition switch or passlock go bad with similar symptoms.

I'll check the ignition switch tomorrow morning. From what I've read it was the pink wire that was supposed to get voltage. If that crosses out I'll prolly need a new fuel pump.

Oh and I did the dumbest thing listening to my buddy who told me to try and crank it with the LPG switch pressed which would cause the car to try and start up on LPG fuel (the lpg installation has it's own injectors so it bypasses the whole system). I did that aaaaaaaaand....... passlock kicked in with it's padlock icon.

I'll try to unlock it with the key on - 10 minutes - 5 seconds off ( 3 times) procedure. I'm leaving the whole thing for tomorrow though cause my battery needs to spend the night in the garage connected to a charger, all the cranking drained it quite fast.

6.11.2016 Update

I've put in a freshly charged battery. Switched off Passlock with the above procedure. Tried to crank it a few times and the PCM B fuse was blown again. I'm pretty sure it's the fuel pump. I'll try to research the subject on the web some more.

With a fresh fuse can you hear the pump run, or does it blow the fuse right away? Sounds like you are getting closer...

If the pcmb fuse blows as soon as key is turned on disconnect connector at fuel pump and see if fuse blows with key on, if not fuel pump is junk. If it still blows with pump disconnected you have problem elsewhere in circuit.
