Default 1st Time Hummer Owner in ND

Well, technically, it is my wife's vehicle, lol. We just purchased an 08 Hummer H3 Luxury in Midnight Blue. My wife got sick of being pushed around in her 08 Ford Fusion here in oil country, so she made up her mind that a Hummer was the best choice. After test driving a different one, I knew she made a wise decision. We jumped on the deal we got on our new ride after the dealer offered us $13,500 for the fusion on trade. We paid $15,000 for it 2 years and 30,000 miles ago!!!

Got a picture in my profile. Can't wait to take it through the snow during the long North Dakota winter!

Default Not Drilling

No, I am not working the oilfield, but it is very tempting with all the high paying jobs around. If you haven't heard about the Bakken oil formation, you should google it, pretty interesting stuff.

With nearly 200 drilling rigs operating in NW ND right now, the truck traffic is out of control, and the roads are terrible. The HUMMER should hold up a little better in these conditions than her little fusion.

Here are a couple videos of what you see around here right now.
