I recently bought a 1998 H1 2-door pickup. The emergency brakes drag noticeably. Has someone else had this issue? Any suggestions regarding fix?

Try loosening the parking brake adjuster. it is the **** on the top of the parking brake lever. lefty loosey righty tighty we have to adjust these constanly in our trucks in theater because of all the hard abuse the brakes take

 

Thanks for the reply. I tried that previously, but it didn't work. Disconnected the cable. and it still drags until I use a pry bar to release the lever at the caliper itself. I guess I'll need to try to take it apart and look inside.
