12V sockets

Does the H3 have an energy management program? I had it on the CTS. My radar detector was always on. But later the energy management software turned it off to save the battery.
I don't think so... The wiring diagram shows it wired directly to the battery fuse panel. My other vehicles had the sockets turning off as soon as the key was off. That was nice.
I did leave my radar detector on for over a week and a half (at the airport parking lot) and when I got back from the trip I found a dead battery! Not a happy puppy!
This is why I'm adding a relay to break the voltage to the socket when the key is off. I wish that would be a change in future H3's.
