Default 120,000 Fluid Change Suggestion

Guys,

My 2006 Hummer H3 is going in the shop Sunday for ALL FLUIDS changed..


Anyone have any sugguestion on what type and kind of oils to use for what?

Brakes
Transfer Case
front and rear Diffs
Power Steering
Anti Freeze
Transmission

I used mostly royal purple full synthetic through out mine

yea that's what I'm looking at for 1k.. With tire balanced and rotation.

They dont make dex6 for the trans & trans case?

My local oil change shop did both diffs and the transfer case for $50 with me supplying the fluids - about another $80. Transmission shop did the tranny for $160.

Sounds like your shop is a bit pricey.

Yes it is.. brakes, transfer case, f&r diffs, & coolant are just drain and fills, just like the engine oil. Power steering, transmission, and fuel system cleaning are connected to a machine, adding more expense.. Still don't add up no matter what fluid is being used. Besides, I don't see an engine oil change nor fuel system cleaning included, just balance and rotation which is maybe, 50 bucks..
