'08 H3 in TN
Bought a 2008 H3 a couple of months ago. What a vehicle...rock solid, top to bottom...lots of upgrades to do. Grill guard and roof rack on the way. Still need to grow a pair and crank the torsion bars. Someone please convince me that it isn't going to hurt a thing as long as I get a front end alignment
I have been lurking for a couple of months. Good forum and an amazing portion of information here.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum.. I too have the 08 and I have cranked mine. As long as you dont go over 23 1/4 from the center of hub to the rim of the fenderwell then you will be fine, and get a alignment. The only thing that I would suggest is, if you do, then get the trail duty package which is the Bilstein shocks and extended bumpstops. When I get some extra money I am going to do this. I dont like the ride as much, but that will put it back to the sweet spot.
Yeah Pappibri, I did not want the chrome at all, but I practically stole this one and couldn't pass it up...Leveling is priority as the raked look is killing me...Surco Rack on the way, Steelcraft grill guard on the way and 315's after the holiday season passes. I am a storm chaser by trade, so I have quite a few toys on the inside.
ttyndall, I am in Nashville. We actually have two really good places to off road within an hour of here. Looking forward to that...

Remember to get you some good UCP and some rockrails.. Got to protect the belly of the beast.. Storm chaser ha? Sounds like an adventure waiting to happen. Cant wait to see the pics with the rack and brushguard on it.
Cbenn17, Looks like I might have to go ahead and get the ucp equipment so I can call the next time I am there. We will probably be coming up in January. My Mother-In-Law lives in Westmeade (Can't remember if that is one or two words) and two brother-in-laws in Franklin.
