I'm considering selling my 2008 Hummer H3.

I'm the original owner, my wife bought me the truck new in October of 2008 as a birthday gift. The truck has 6,277 original miles. I do not drive it often, which why I am selling it. It typically just sits parked on my driveway or in front of my home. It is the nicest truck I've ever owned, too nice to use as a work truck (carrying home improvement stuff or garden materials, etc.) so I don't even use it for Home Depot runs on weekends.

The truck is in beautiful condition, it still smells new. You are welcome to examine it, or have your mechanic perform a Pre-Purchase Inspection (at your cost).

When purchased, I ordered it with the LUX package and 5-speed (manual). It is a lot of fun to drive. I DID NOT order it with the sunroof or backup camera.

My truck has the following options:

- Black (Ebony) leather interior with gray piping on the seats.
- Chrome appearance package which includes chromed exterior door handles, chromed exterior mirror caps, chrome gas cap cover, and chrome side steps
- 8-way power heated seats for the driver and passenger
- Leather wrapped steering wheel, shift **** and boot
- 7 speaker Monsoon stereo system
- Floor mats front and back as well as cargo area, and the cargo cover
- Trailer hitch with wiring harness
- Go Rhino! 360C Chrome Hitch Step with a Trimax T-3 Black Receiver Lock
- Cast zinc metal license plate frames
- G-Style Mud Flaps, Black Rigid Tire Cover and Black Roof Rails

I want to fully disclose that there are two CarFax records on the truck. The first was that the truck was scraped/side swiped while parked right in front of my house. The fenders got scraped and the chrome gas cap got pulled off. The second incident was when I was stopped in a line of traffic waiting at a red light, and a person coming from behind me - texting instead of paying attention - drove into my rear bumper. He tried to swerve out of the way at the last moment and caught my drivers side rear bumper around the license plate frame. I have photos of both incidents. Neither issue was serious. I'm not selling the truck because of this, these incidents happened over 6-7 months ago. I'm selling the truck because I don't use it.

Included with the sale of the truck will be the manuals, the original window sticker, and both sets of keys and key fobs.

Also, when Hummer announced they were going out of business, I came across and bought an extra set of wheels and tires from some kid who went with aftermarkets for his H3. The seller said they have about 15,000 miles on them. These 5 wheels and tires are included with the sale of the truck. You need to pick them up.

Also, two additional sets of side bars (running bars/step up bars) are also included. Both sets are chrome. One set is a GM set that has a dent on one side bar. The other is an aftermarket set. My sons and I were thinking about painting one set the car color (black out effect) or maybe doing something funky, so when I came across them I bought them. We never had time for this project and as a result the bars are taking up space in my basement. These come with the truck, but you need to pick them up.

The truck is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties expressed or implied. I am not certain, but the balance of the GM warranty may be transferable, you will need to find this out. If you buy the truck, payment is to be made via check drawn from a major US bank. I'll turn over the keys when the check clears.

There has been one recall on this truck - the front hood "grill" needs to be removed by the dealer, and reapplied with new adhesive. I have not had this done yet.

Don't let the Carfax records defer your interest. Hummer is gone, they aren't making them anymore, and I probably have the lowest mileage, mature driven H3 in the country. The truck rides fantastic, is quiet and solid, I just don't drive it often and feel like it's a shame it just sits around most of the week. I'm a mature husband/father, this wasn't a "bling" truck that I took off road or raced or anything, it is really in new condition.

I'm not looking to unload it, which is why I started this thread saying "I'm considering selling it". I won't give it away, in years to come it will be valued by collectors. I have no need to sell it as I own it outright (clear title), so it's not that I'm trying to get out of a payment. I usually keep my vehicles 10-12 years, but my commuting changed and I no longer drive to work so the truck just sits around most of the time. If you're located near me you are more than welcome to come by and see it for yourself.

I'm asking $26,800. I can answer any additional question you have. If you buy it and you're not local and need to have the truck shipped, I should be able to load/fit the extra wheels and side bars into the truck, the wheels fit in the truck when I bought them, and I can probably tie the side bars to the roof rails. Otherwise you would need to arrange for shipping these parts, at your cost.

The truck right now has a little less than 6,300 miles. I may drive it a little until it is sold.
