Default 08 H3 Hummer

Hey guys am new here but just bought a 08 H3 Hummer that had 28,000 miles on it. I been having a vibration problem sometimes when at Idle or when I am sitting at a stop sign. Today the check engine light came on and On star is telling me that there is a misfire somewhere. Any suggestion would greatly help. Going to the dealship garage tomorrow thanks guys.

You have a bad O2 senser I had the same problem with mine at almost the mileage. Let dealer fix it you should still be under warranty at 28k on your H3.

Your question is missing too much information to bother to guess. You need to have someone with a scanner tell you what code it is throwing and that should be posted in your question, a CEL could be literally 100s of different posibilities.

Furthermore..... On Star is useless.

I agree with onstar. And the scanner bit. It could be anything from anything spark to fuel to filters the valves to sensors or anything... W...a....r..r......warranty??? Never had one of those before...lol.06 with 170k. They should hook you up for sure though.

I doubt it's an 02...Those sensors are highly monitored and will set many different codes:

P0130 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 1)
P0131 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank I Sensor I)
P0132 02 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank I Sensor 1)
P0133 02 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0134 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank I Sensor 1)
P0135 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0136 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 2)
P0137 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank I Sensor 2)
P0138 02 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank I Sensor 2)
P0139 02 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P0140 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P0141 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P0142 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 3)
P0143 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank I Sensor 3)
P0144 02 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank I Sensor 3)
P0145 02 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 3)
P0146 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank I Sensor 3)
P0147 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 3)
P0150 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor I)
P0151 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor I)
P0152 02 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
P0153 02 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

P0161 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2)
P0162 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 3)
P0163 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 3)
P0164 02 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 3)
P0165 02 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2 Sensor 3)
P0166 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 3)
P0167 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 3)
P0170 Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1)
P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1)
P0172 System too Rich (Bank 1)
P0173 Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 2)
P0174 System too Lean (Bank 2)
P0175 System too Rich (Bank 2)

What kind of fuel have you been using? What maintenance have you performed? Air filter clean, throttle body clean, maf sensor clean? Can you go to Autozone, or another local auto parts store that scans your computer for free? You will need to provide more information for a better solution.
