Hey remember me the guy whos doing the turbo kit? well that's still a go just prob not till spring as I have lots of stuff to make for it to really work.. But till then I am doing the bolt in stuff now and in about 2-3 weeks whenever they can get me on the schedule for tuning im going to see what it does. Anyone want to take some guesses. Maybe it will help others once mine is done to gauge the power levels these alphas make with similar mods.


Mods are catless (yes no cats) exhaust 2.5" using OEM manifolds to a flowmaster 50 delta muffler with dual 2.5" outlets ( I went this way cause im going turbo later and this will all get changed so why dump tons of money on exhaust now)


stock Ls6 camshaft with springs, but using luanati roller rockers with a 1.75 ratio.


stock airbox with k&N filter


unported stock intake (I hear I have the same as a TBSS) is this true?


and the unported heads which again I hear are LS6 heads.


that's about it... But im going to get it tuned and see if I cant get close to 280-290whp out of this Hummer as is.. then after go turbo and try and break 400whp or more. real mods come later but if my hummer puts down an estimated 220-230whp now, I see no reason I cant jump 50-60whp with a tune that alone should add a good deal and the cam should do nothing but help more.. what you all think??


Transmission will be left stock for now.


Does anyone wanna take a crack at numbers it will put down? Its really mostly stock except exhaust and camshaft

 

cam/exhaust and tune probably put 40-50 extra hp at the wheels (so 290 whp is around where you would get)
