07 Invoice pricing
I'm negotiating w/ a local dealer on an '07 H3 w/ Luxury, auto, sunroof, trailer and XM. The invoice price shown by Edmunds is approx $2500 less than the "invoice" the dealer printed out for me on something called a "BARS Document Display."
Which "invoice" price is accurate?
Which "invoice" price is accurate?
The dealers can and are allowed to jack up option prices..I did an on line search of several dealers back last year, and found a wide variance in list prices on the options....I think Edmunds basically just averages things across the board.
Not sure if this will help but here are the MSRP prices from GM on the '07 model year.
H3 SUV: 29,405.00
Luxury Package: 3,230.00
Auto Trans: 1,695.00
Sunroof: 950.00
Trailer: 390.00
XM: 325.00
Total MSRP: 35,995.00
Just as Dennis says, these are subject to dealer prices and are suggested retail prices. Send me a PM if you are going to buy and I'll send you a GM in the Driveway code. That will knock a little off the price. But please only request it if you are really going to buy and not just looking.

Some, but not all dealers have their internet sites set up so you can go in and get an actual GM invoice. For an example go to Cerritos Hummer in Cerritos Ca. ( Yahoo search engine ) Go to the basic Hummer 3, and wade through the menu, eventually you will see a prompt for actual invoice. It will at least give you an idea of what Gm says the stuff sells for. The internet Kelly blue book and " Edmunds" are also Quite accurate.
