First of all, what do you expect when you bitch about a Hummer on a Hummer site?

Second, Dennis has been nothing but great on this site and is one of the fine people who keep it going.

Third, I am not a lapdog. If you were talking about the Mods on the site, we do our best to keep the site pleasant for everyone.

I really do hope that you get your H3 fixed. It's a shame that you are not enjoying it like everyone else.
Problems suck, I know! But when you get it fixed right, You'll be one happy Hummer owner.
Bravo, very well said blackstang.

Ok, Dennis please do not cry. ! You and all of your lap dogs can just keep on telling people they are stupid just because you do not like what they post or how they post.
I believe that you're way out of line mister......

Dennis is one of the most open minded guy around here and the same applies to the other mods.
Every one can complain about her/his HUMMER here and, if you where older on this forum, you would have found it.

The only acceptable way to complain about your HUMMER, on a HUMMER forum at least, is to do it on a constructive and efficient way.
Otherwhise you're , obviously, asking for trouble.

That being said, bitching about your gas mileage AFTER having bought a HUMMER makes you look ridiculous ( and that is an understatement!) to say the least.
and even worst, comparing a V8 to an I5 makes you look UNFAIR.

Last but not least, if you find the way Dennis and the 'lap dogs' are running this forum inadequate for you, fair enough.
But then make us ALL a favor....quit.
Because I feel safe to say that its neither Dennis nor the 'lap dogs' that are going to leave.

you just want a lapdance Rich! LOL [8D]

Boy I got so wrapped up in my own plight the last few days that I missed a whole lotta stuff elsewhere lol.

In response to little rickey lol
I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon and bash to follow the crowd (or be like that other site) but in case anyone else is reading and contemplating a new 1st time H3...do your research, read various forums, (the H3 has been out way long enough for there to be a good feel for handy info on it from those who have had experiences already) Be a PITA to your salesman and drive more than 1! Rent an H3 for a day or 2 and get a feel for it...stop people in parking lots and ASK how they like theirs and for feedback! SO MANY things one can do FIRST! AND DONT BELIEVE that MPG BS they put on all stickers and take it as gospel..not all vehicles get exactly what they claim - many conditions may cause it to vary. And, don't expect the ride/feel of a Lexus! It's a rugged SUV!

2ndly, if you go to a Hummer forum and trash the ride itself...be prepared to get negative feedback...people are usually here because they are avid enthusiasts.

3rdly so sorry for the head problems and as I have stated before - rather maddening to those who either waited for the 07's (to get the bugs out) or traded in an 06for a new 07, to now have to wonder (worry?) about the head issue! Hope you get your issue fixed quickly and can relax and enjoy the ride....P.S. many of us enjoy it and overlook some of the possible negatives because we love it so much!

Regarding MPG Rating..My Engineer friend with GM, say that when GM posts the MPG on the sticker, it is based on pretty much ideal labratory conditions.

i.e.,

Flat level roads
No head winds or roof items to create drag
Tires aired up to max
Tire size 265 (base model)
Windows rolled up
No A/C on or other devices that suck power from the battery and or altenator
Summertime fuel blends

Etc..

You get the picture...
