I have an 07 h3. Lately it has been harder and harder to start but I just chalked it up to the cold and a possibly weak battery. Well today I start it up and the Rpm's were dropping to the point of almost stalling and revving up again. Once I started driving it seemed low on power and had the herky jerkys. Once I got on the freeway it all cleared up and ran like normal. Then the DIC started showing service stabilitrak and traction control failed. Then the warning light showing a picture of a motor lit up. Once I turned it off and started the h3 again this whole process started again. What could be causing this? Thanks.

 

Just a guess, but sounds like alternator.
