07 H3, Pensacola Florida
Hello all, this is my very first post on Hummer forums!
A little bit about myself......I am twenty five years old, currently living in Pensacola Florida. I am originally from Morgantown, West Virginia, however I recently moved down here in January for the service. I am a Naval Officer (Ensign), and currently am waiting to start flight school, hopefully fairly soon, around March or April. Other hobbies include fitness (Insanity), reading, stock-investing, and flying (Private Pilot).
Now for my vehicle.........I own a 2007 Hummer H3, 116,000 miles (approximately), and is 100% completely stock. No Adventure or Luxury packages, just stock, with 32" tires, and slate blue in color. She has treated me well (since 2009), and aside from two "warranty-covered" issues with the drive train, the real problems I've encountered were a cracked radiator, dirty throttle body, and the very common ABS/Traction Control problem, which was a bad wire leading to the Right Rear ABS sensor. All of these have been fixed, and my little five cylinder is still running like a champ.
I am anxious to hear from everyone, and if anybody is in the Pensacola area, I'd love to go off-roading sometime. As mentioned above, I have only been her about a month, so if there is a good place that I don't know about, please let me know. I have my eye on the Eglin Air Force Base, but that's about all I know of right now.
