07 H3 low tire sensor
The low tire alert came on today. As I went to check tire pressure each tire showed 25psi. I read the door jam sticker it says 30psi should be in them but on the tire it states 44psi. Confused, how much air should be in them?
25 psi is way too low for on-road driving.
I air down to 20 psi when offroading in rocks and normally run 38-40 psi for on-road driving.
38 psi may feel a little stiffer to you but your MPG will improve.

I changed psi from 35 to 40. Better fuel economy and the same ride (not stiff at all) with my monroe monotubes on all 4 corners.
BTW, the pressure on the tire is MAXIMUM air pressure for the P-metric tires.. Get the LT tires and you can air up to 80psi.
