Default 07 h3

So I just picked up my hummer h3. The vin and dealer both claim adventure package. Has all the bells and whistles EXCEPT the button for the locker. Anyone else come across this?

Maybe they had a locker problem and removed the button to sell it.

If the VIN # has the adventure time package then either the rear differential was replaced with a non locking different or they replaced the control switch.

Look at the rear diff for wiring coming from the top of the diff.
If it's there you may need to buy a switch off of eBay.

What year H3? I may have a switch panel for it I'm not going to use.

The VIN wouldn't tell you if it is an Adventure I don't think. That would be on service parts identification, aka RPO, sticker in the glovebox. That has the option codes on it. Look for ZM6 or NR6

True that. Check the RPO list in the glove box. You could also ask any GM dealer to run the VIN in order to print out the original RPO list. Without the locker button I'm starting to think that perhaps the dealer lied to you about it having the more desirable Adventure pkg to get more money for it (What? A used car salesman lied? Say it ain't so!)? If so, you may not have the 4:1 transfer case, either.
