Default 07 Exhaust P # ?

Has anybody seen any part numbers for an 07 h3 exhaust system? Looking for something with a mellow deep sound (or as much as you can get with a 5 banger) I've been a fan of Gibson but have heard good things aboutSMA (B&B) and borla. Ant new thoughts since past posts? Any help with part numbers or a ggod place to buy would be helpful..thanks ...J

I believe any part # for an 06 would fit the 07. There isn't enough of a horsepower difference to where they would need a different muffler. The pipe sizes are the same, same length wheelbase truck so the hanger locations would be the same. Ireckon an06 kit would be a direct bolt on replacement. As far as what system to get...I love borla but wouldn't spend that much on a system thats going to get beat to hell off-road, if you don't go offroad then it may be a good investment. Also if you are going to be going off-road you may want something like theGibson system because it eliminates the under bumper muffler that the OEM uses. Borla, and most of the others have the muffler in the stock location which puts it at risk when off-road.

I heard the Gibson and liked it, not ricey at all. I also heard from people on this board that the borla sounded good too. I still wish we could post sound clips of all the different exhausts that the members here have...that would rock [sm=icon_rock.gif]

Mike is right...the 07 and 06 are basically the same in the exhast department...But I would call Gibson and ask to make sure..

I have the Gibson and it's sounds good IMO.

I recently installed an '06 Magnaflow on my '07 without any problems, haven't heard the others but this one sounds pretty good to me! Got mine on ebay for approx $525.00.....well built, easy install.

The Borla system has a slightly smaller profile mufflerand sets higher in the exhaust system mounts. You would hit your leafsprings before hitting the muffler. You may hit the exhaust tips but you would also hit them if you were using a Gibson system as they sit in about the same spot under the rear bumper.

Talked to Gibson and they were unsure if it would fit ...They said " We are unable to verify that the 2006 exhaust will fit an 07 since they have not brought one in to fit up." so I think I will just go for the gibson ...
