So I've wanted an H1 since they came out in the early '90's and I was still in elementary school... now, I have the money to buy one.

I was looking at a 1995 H1 but realized it would be way more trouble than it was worth to keep the thing running.

I am now looking at the following 2 H1's. The blue one is '03 with 40,000 miles on it, the yellow is '04 with 14,000 on it.

Anything I should look out for in these model years? Are cracked blocks still an issue? Do these use AMG or GM engines? Thanks!

No cracked block issues on those trucks. they use the newer AM General version of the 6.5L turbo.

 

Both nice trucks. Do you prefer the wagon or soft top? I have an 06 and a 97 H1 and I like both interiors but prefer the older trucks to the 06.

 

i like the wagon myself,but the other is nice too.....ah heck,buy em both
