What do you do for a living (just curious)
Not long ago, onan arrest report that was being filed out, there is a block for "occupation". The person in question was well known, so "Drug Dealer" was put in the block. A week later, it was kicked back from a supervisor for not being politically correct. A little white out was used, and it was returned with the occupation being listed as "Street Pharmacist". The report hasn't been seen since.
Everybody/everything has to have a title. The things were called foodstamps for 40 years, is that not politically correct enough. Next thing you know we will be calling kleenex mucous blankets. Geez
In the military (particulary on USAF bases) they don't call them barracks anymore, they are know "bachelor's quaters" and "bachelorette quaters"
The Mess Hall is now called a "Dinning Facility". Mess Hall offended the cooks, apparently they haven't eaten there

There isn't a secretary in any of our offices, they are all Administrative Assistants, our housekeeping company supervisor has a card that says Sanitation Engineer...have to be a hundred more examples...lets hear them.
Maybe we should start another thread for this. I think we are hijacking this one. Sorry[sm=oopssign.gif]
Probably should be in Off Topic also.

I heard a contractor refer to his laborers who do manual and hand digging ashis personalexcavation specialist. Go figure, even the low wage earners and hard laborers have a glorified title. I am shure he sleeps better at night by giving him a better title andI am sure the laborer, enjoys his job more with a nice shiny title.
