Working for an engineering firm, we have seen the market in housing dip quite a bit. About 2 years ago I left my job doing residential to do more public work, more for a change of pace than anything. It's a lot of City work now which most cities are trying to give themselves a better image.

hammer...you are right. I'm a Firefighter/Paramedic. I also teach at the local community college and I also work part time at a medical clinic.
Thats right...3 jobs. Unfortunetly that is the only way I can afford an H2

These are tough times for developers and contractors. I am fortunate in that respect. We will start about 4000 units this year. Our PM company manages a lot of units but we don't have to evict hardly anyone. We pre-qualify pretty stiffly but I guess we have been a little lucky so far also.

Internet and Travel Agents have the best deals. Even working for the Company I do not get that much of a break. Now, if you choose to book on Carnival Ecstasy out of Galveston going to Cozumel, just let me know your cruise date and cabin number. Whse manager for a regional valve/instrument supply company. been with this co. for 17yrs and around it all of my life of 43 yrs as my father worked here for 32 yrs same position.

Whatever pays the bills..... except I got a dam tenant who owes me 11k I told him if he didnt pay I would get gangster on him. I also told him I would be video taping his eviction and laughing which I will do and probably post online.
