Default snow travel

HI all, I have a 2005 HUMMER H2 which I assume is always in AWD/FWD. Can someone advise me if this is the case? I want to make sure I am driving it in the snow with the best traction possible (highway speeds, etc). Any info would be great. here is a pic of where it normally drives. Thank you, Joe

H2 Hummers are normally in AWD though you can get lock the front to rear by pressing the 4 high lock button. If you begin to get stuck you can place the H2 in 4wheel low lock then activate the rear differential locker.

Generally the H2 does a great job in the snow just by leaving it in the normal 4 high range even off road in snow drifts. Perhaps those who have H2's in the northern states and regularly drive their H2's can chime in on this.
