Technically, rejoining but been 12 years or so and figured I'd start fresh since I no long remember username or login. Probably only posted a couple times back then. Anyway, we got a '06 H2 that we bought new and it was a daily driver till 2012 and basically has sat in my shop/ mancave with a boat regulated to the same fate, since then with maybe 10k or so miles being put on it. Since it became a 3rd vehicle for the 2 of us and we kind of lost interest in it along with every time it was taken out it needed something it seemed. Which it has a couple needs now -big one is tires but they will wait till the rest is done. It is the most maintained vehicle from new we ever had, since we planned to keep it from the beginning, always used Mobil 1 and all the maintenance stuff done. But yet it has cost us the most in repairs etc as well. Adventure Sports(Lynch Hummer) in St Louis did most of it as we traveled between Tx-Colo-S.IL till we moved permanent to S.IL and they last did the transfer case -headers -air susp rebuild 5-6 years ago. They were great guys to deal with, got to see if they are still in business. Currently finishing a major detailing as we want to start using it again and we have our property for sale and hope to join our daughter and her family in Knoxville area when we sell ,so Wind Rock might be in the future. Just got bumpers, skid plates etc and molding's all back on after painting and cleaning the entire underside. Now got the roof tracks and all the plastic off the roof polishing it and sealing grommets for lights etc. Pulled the lower windshield cowl off as well to clean and seal / inspect all of it. You all have been a great resource over the years troubleshooting issues and just keeping up to a point on them and your issues seen as they age. This got longer than planned so I will start a new thread in day or so for a couple items/ suggestions from the group.
Keep em upright. Look forward to conversations ahead.
I didn't take any pictures showing good detail on the holes in rear bumper. I took these today of it installed and held a tape you can zoom in on for idea of spacing for 3rd hole on the swivel side. Hope they give you a idea but once you have the replacement rear it should be easy with the mount mocked up on it.
