Default 2009 Silver ICE H2-100% OEM Not sure what to do with it

Part of me wants to put this away , and treat it as a hobby truck…trying my hardest to basically take it all apart, and fully restore it , then wrap it up, and put it in a vacuum sealed box. Lol.

but I LOVE MY TRUCK, and it’s become a mobile billboard , a mobile office , locker room , Rv ,

Im starting to get some annoying rust issues at the rear qtr panel..a very common issue where water leaks from the rear headlamps.

I’ve been offered insane money for my rims? They are just 20” hummer rims. I’m trying to attach photos but they are to large or something.

if you google “pc surgeon buffalo” , you can see photos.

what would you guys do if you had this? Drive it? Make it showroom quality? They only made 151 models of this truck

This is the best I could do guys. A lot of my pics are in high def and too large to upload for some reason. There are more detailed closer photos of it on my business page on google. Pc surgeon buffalo. What would you guys do with this ? Just broke 100k miles.

It's a personal choice. The last time I was restoring anything it was a '66 Chevy Chevelle, but I've also always owned trucks and have off-roaded the entire western US for adventure (and Hawaii). The Hummer is a great balance of project car that is also totally useful. I spent 16 hours removing failed adhesives in the roof gutters, applying polyurethane and adding in after market gaskets because the OEM rain drip gasket is just for looks. Pulled the roof rails off and the ABS light assemblies to look for those little cracks that let in water. Sealed everything I found, removed rust with qtips, primered with qtips, topcoated and glossed. Only the birds know how good it looks! You also have the tax write off. So whatever makes you happy, that's what you should do.

In 35 years it might be a collector vehicle (IMHO not gonna ever happen), until then why not enjoy it and forget the unrealistic restoration dream.

wow. Thank you so Much for the tips, and I know EXACTLY what you’re talking about. But haven’t ripped up that back piece yet. I have replaced the cab lights. My wheels don’t exist. The truck calls for 295/60/r20 but they are hard to come by.

what is the most comfortable tire I should get ? Keep in mind I have at Oem 20” rim.

thank you guys so much
