hey.. can you tell me what kind of grill guard you have? i'm having trouble finding one I like. Thanks for posting in my thread about the light bar.. still debating a few options but I really wanna figure out how to mount it closer to grill level than on the roof.

    Hi LoJac963,

We wanted to ask about your "LED DRL's installed" thread. Would you mind if we featured it on our site?

We are brothers building a gearhead encyclopedia. People are very generous with their knowledge but have no great place to store it. With a copy of your thread on DIYauto.com it will be organized and preserved to help fellow enthusiasts long after it is lost in the archives.

Your post will be credited to you and there will be a link to your original thread as well for people who want to follow it.

Our dream is after a few years of people contributing, you'd be able to find any DIY, build, review, wiring diagram, etc. for pretty much any car in a couple clicks. We want to make this knowledge easily accessible to everyone.

Please check out our site and let us know what you think!

Would you be so kind as to help me use your experience in the interior dash bulbs. I want to buy the correct ones before I open the dash and want to have plenty and all types on hand. Any links to show me exactly what I need is super helpful. You are welcome to message me or email me direct. Dbetler@comcast.net. Thank you in advance.

    M6Sniper,
I removed the factory plug from both sides of the factory wires then ran more wire to each pair of lights. One pair on each side of the truck, one pair on each set of wires. I'm assuming you're aware there is a set of wires on each side of the truck. Let me know if you need any further help.

    Thanks for the comments!

Hey LoJac - I also have followed your build on another forum and your build is very impressive to say the least. from that - i have recently purchased the LED daytime running lights and 4 horn set which i will be installing over the next couple of weeks. the lights arrived and the horns will soon follow. what i am curious to know regarding the Horn install is the wiring back to the vehicle. Did you use the wire(s) leading to the factory horn and splice all 4 horn connections to this? if you have pics would help.
any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi LoJac,

I've followed your build over on another forum (LoJac963's Deuce Build - Hummer Forums by Elcova) and I have a couple of questions if you don't mind.
1.What part number did you order for your HID headlights?
2.Did you purchase from DDM or Ebay?
3.Do you have any pictures of your HID Setup (wiring)
4.Any advice when doing the HID conversion? I'm doing this next
5.Where did you get you interior LED kit from? Could you provide part numbers?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give. I appreciate your time!
