You're thinkning of that park we went to in illinois last summer. That place was horrible for Hummers but we had to try it.

At least the badlands has Jeeps and Hummers on a regular basis to keep the trails somewhat widened. There are a couple of spots we missed last time where we might need a shovel.

It's a fun day.

Mike, just stop by the dealership this weekend and trade in for an Alpha. This will actually solve several of your issues, wife will have leather, heated seats for the road trip and you will have that extra stuff for off roading.

I think cutters are good since Nick like's to squeeze his H2 through openings made for big wheels.

If you are refering to the mudswamp ATV trail .. that opening wasn't there until AFTER I went through it hehehe... I think I still have pieces of that brush in my skid plates LOL!

Hey guys! The end of this month looks pretty good to me. I just got the winch on the Alpha incase Jdrew decides he doesn't want to resuce my high centered truck off the dirt mound again.
You actually admit to that these days?!?!?

If you guys want, we can bring some branch cutters with us and just hack away if a tree gets in our way, its not big deal to them at the badlands. I know some of those trails can get pretty tight for an H2.
It's going to take a chain saw to get rid of those trees Mike ... hehehehe

Also, we should try the rock quarry this time. Theres some easy rock climbs in there we can play on. I'd be more than happy to spot people if they wanted to try them out.
Count me in this time around .. had plenty of opportunity to crawl at Haspin this summer ..

Am I going to get stuck trail leading again? I'd prefer to let someone else lead us into the deadend this time.

Mike
I dunno but I say lets just make whoever is getting there LAST be trail leader again hehehehehe

yea, that was a tight trail for your H2 but you did a good job getting through there. That would be actually be fun trail if we could widen it up.

Yes I am Nick You know, the one that put those scars on your truck your wife didn't like too much

and Mike, on the loaner '08 H3, Jackie still complained the seats were uncomfortable, so when I went to pick up my truck tonight I showed her the leather. She liked it. We both like the new Birch White one offered as an '08, and to my delight, you have quite a few of them available at your dealer

I'm going to start the agonizing process of de-modding my H3 this weekend. I may need to order the factory H3 badging from you guys, ya know, to replace the Nine Inch Nails logos I put in their place

Oh, and I took the Criss Angel stuff off

If the last person there is made trail leader then I'm not waiting for mike on route 41 this time.

I'll bring the chainsaw and my leatherface mask.

Yep, it would be a lot of fun ... didn't you guys end up having to temporarily move a tree for me on that trail too!? I recall one spot somewhere out in thatarea where it simply was too tight of a squeeze ... I still have the scuff mark lol!

Yeah. We tried ONE, and that's the one where we could barely make it through the trails. It's right off of I-80 just past me in Plainfield. Mike just drove his H3 through this dense forest and went so far he just dissappeared......... We had to hike about 1/4 mile to find him, where he was stuck in a dead end and somehow managed to get out.

Mike likes to beat on his Hummers That's why he blows parts up and stuff

There are a couple of others we haven't checked out yet. Maybe we can go check them out sometime.
