Possibly getting an H3T Alpha
So, some of you know I've had my H3 I-5 for a while now. I've always wanted the truck version with the V8, and I think I found one I'm interested in. The only issue is, besides it being pretty much stock, which I don't care because I'm going to move everything from my 2007 over to it anyway (Lifts, shocks, winch, bumper, rims/tires, roof rack, dash mounted Hula-Girl, etc...its showing either a P0445 OR a P0449 code, can't remember which one (I can find out, wrote it down but...can't find it???) The seller won't fix it and doesn't care, however I have to do a fresh emissions to register it in my name here in Phoenix and from what I've read it's most likely NOT "Just a gas cap" as he claims. I've dealt with codes on my 2007 H3 I-5 but never either of these. He wants 28,000 dollars and won't budge. I hate dropping that kind of money and immediately have to tear into the vehicle to fix a code, but it's not like I haven't already been doing that for years anyway on my 07 I-5. This isn't going to be some type of really costly parts to repair correct? Do these codes affect the driving of the vehicle in any way? It is the Alpha and it does have to front and rear lockers, leather with heated seats, original owner. Seems to have everything. 103,000 miles.I guess my question is: Is it worth it??

Yes sir, I looked through those thanks, I've also looked through a whole bunch more over the last few months. The H3T's for the lesser amounts are all five cylinder engines. I really can't believe the prices of these things either. Its also interesting to mention that the actual value seems very difficult to determine...
KBB $20,685
Edmunds $12,717
IseeCars $28,120
Carfax $25,750
I can tell you that almost all of the "Unicorn" H3T Alphas that I've found has been priced in the 28-30k price range and they've all sold pretty fast.
I guess it all comes down how badly I want it. I had my dibs on one in Arkansas for 23400 and it was sold to a collector before real pictures were ever posted on the dealership website.. Pisses me off badly 🤣🤣

Interesting how this is evolving Looks like Hummers like Corvettes and other classics are entering the realm of high priced "I want one". So brother you may have to perseverate with your diligent search for the special one for the right price...Just looked at ebay and came up empty...
