Default Installed the K&N FIPK today

Just recently did a few add-ons to my H3T

K&N FIPK cold air Filter..i had the Air Doc performance intake pipe on ( from the previous owner..this K&N wouldnt work bcuz the air inlet tube was too short The baffle that wrapped around the throttle body was gone ( Air-Doc was there), had to hack it and affix the intake from the K&N Worked out and its a little louder now without that restrictive factory air-box

This is the look of the engine with the Air-Doc performance intake.

This is a small section of the Air-Doc intake pipe we cut it and used the middle section with the vacuum tube, to hook up to the vacuum fitting on the head

Take some time to figure out how to get that in and it's done now.

Took a bit of time but it went in family. Easy to do, once we got the Air-Doc cut & connected to the K&N FIPK

Not sure what the expected outcome is you are looking for. Higher intake temps and more fuel use, possibly?

Plus the coolant overflow hose now spews directly on the air filter...

Your "CAI" is actually a "HAI", drawing hot air from under the hood in the engine bay, rather than cold air from outside under the fender. There is nothing restrictive about the stock filter housing other than the entry into the fender area, which is minimal. Instead, you WILL increase your intake temps, not decrease them. But hey, knock yourself out; it "looks" cool, right?
