Default WTB: K&N CAI for 2008 H3

Hello,

I'm new but I know what i'm looking for.

I'm looking for a K&N cold air intake with the polished tube for my 2008 Hummer H3.

Let me know what you've got.

Thank you

No you don't.

You won't find anything better than an Air Doc for our vehicles. The factory inlet in the fender well is more than enough to supply as much air as needed with the right intake.

If you want to pay more, and suck in hot air from your engine compartment then by all means go with a K&N. Otherwise talk to Doc.

Airdoc Cold Air Intake Systems

Also, I'll tell you right now, with the way I drive my truck I would have splashed mud all over a K&N cone more times than I can count by throwing it up into my engine compartment. My K&N filter in my factory air box using the wheel well intake is as clean as the day I installed it.

i've been reading and the Air Doc comes up a lot on here. But I wish it came as a polished tube not the black tube

I'd check with doc to see what grade the steel is, if it's something like 953 which is a stainless alloy you could polish it yourself and not have to worry about rust or tarnish other than keeping it clean here and there.

I dunno, polished is nice, but it doesn't go with anything else under the hood, it's not like these are performance vehicles with polished valve covers etc. I'd rather have functionality over form in this case, and I'm usually pretty big on form.

I doubt you'll find a used air doc. Just buy it directly from his site, compared to a new Volant it's a steal.
