Default Working on buying a H3 CE

Hi y'all. Working on getting an H3 Alpha and recently discovered the Champ.
I kind of like the no-Alpha badge idea a bit and the fender flares and front locker makes me happy.
Extra bonus, I have a Cortex tuner from a previous car so I can bump it some right away.

Looking at a unit with 140K, but still looking pretty good for what I think is a good deal (under $15k).
The guy thinks it is a "special order unbadged Alpha" but I am not telling him differently. I'll be going to drive it soon, but got some pics and I am confident it is a CE.
Has aftermarket wheels I am not in love with, but I figure someone might do a trade since they are cool looking. My biggest negative is the bull bar and nerf bars are chrome and not black like I expected.
I figure I can Plasti-Dip them if I really hate it.

Anybody with a Champ care to tell me good/bad/great stuff?

Do you have to post a certain number of times before you can have photos?

Nope, many introduction threads have photos. I'm thinking user error

Prior to the "real" internet, I built and managed a number of BBSes, so that is not too likely.

Since I received a message after uploading, that an admin/moderator or something had to approve it, I was just wondering if there are actually any mods doing any of this on a regular basis.

Yep. Maybe one day someone will approve my ability to post pictures.
Not sure how long that should take.

Moot point anyway. Went to drive it today and it was garbage. Paint was trashed (all 4 fenders) and it would not go into 4-Lo for nothing.
Also scanned with OBDII tool and found 9 codes, several permanent and no reference. Missing pieces and wheels that had chunks of chrome hanging off.

Damn shame they let it get that way. I didn't even bother driving.

You don't need approval to post pictures! Post a link to the ad.

No approval needed for pics. I do not even have the ability to approve any. There are different ways to do it, depends on the source.
