Default Windshield Goose attack

I had a goose fly into my windshield while driving. I have safe lite coming to replace it but they gave me a couple of options one with green and the other with a dark strip. Is there a difference and is one better than the other?

This might seem insignificant but when I had my windshield replaced several years ago the double back foam tape that holds the mirror in place was white instead of the factory black. It bugs me every time I see that white patch in the middle of my windshield. You might want to ask what they use.

Also, make sure the installer is being careful when they remove the various trim pieces around the windshield and cowl area... I had several clips broken by Safelite when they replaced my windshield several years ago.

Which clips should I look out for? He seemed to know everything that had to be removed before he started.

Reminds me of when I was a kid. My dad got 'T' Boned by a pheasant in the driver's side vent window (back when they had vent windows). His window was open, so if he had been going a fraction of a mile/hour faster it would have hit him in the head and possibly killed him. He brought it home plucked and cooked it for dinner.

Had a 8 point buck crash my h3. A antler horn thru the tire and windshield among other problems.

Had safelite do the glass. They did a great job and price was decent.

Recommend watching them do it. That way no misunderstanding.

That buck somehow got up looked at me all dazed and confused.
Ran off about 80 yards and laid down.
Called the local police and asked if I could take him. They said please do...
Got out my knife gut him threw him in the back. Took him home and cut him up.
Was some good meat.

Turned out when cutting him up there was some buck shot in his gut. Thinking that is what put him on the suicide run to my H3...
