Default Who carries an Axe or Shovel or both? Pics?

Recently I noticed that my Rack came with a mount that looks to me like a dual shovel / axe mount. Anyone carry these on their rigs? I was thinking with the amount of hunting and fishing I do, the pair might come in handy! Any pics of your rigs??

What's the point of carrying a pick and shovel? Never been stuck, but seems like if I'm stuck in a hole that making the hole bigger/deeper is counter-productive. Wouldn't a winch be the thing to use?

Well... for me it's to hack up some hogs when we go hog hunting. I can use the axe to do some cutting and then the shovel to do some burying. Not really trail related, more hunting and camping related.

OK, got it. Yes, when going camping (depending on how improved our site is) we have brought the pioneer kit along. It usually gets thrown the back with everything else.

I carry a shovel when I am wheeling for the "just in case". Bungee corded to my roof rack. It would also come in handy if I was wheeling alone (which I never do) and needed to burry my spare tire to use as a whinch point to get me out of a mess if there are no other winch points.
