Question Wheel drag ????

Took my '06 lux. out yesterday. First time in a year..Stopped for some Sta-Bil and gas. When turning out of station, one front wheel seemed to be "dragging "..for lack of a better term. I turned the other way into my driveway..and it did not do it. I know it is in the correct 4 wheel position. Any thoughts ?..thanks..J..PS..Has 29,000 miles..

LIFT/SECURE until all 4 wheels are off the ground. KOEO, in neutral, go spin the wheels and observe the variance in effort it takes.

Thank you for the reply..As I stated, I rarely use this car. I've had it 10 years..and have put 4,000 miles on it. KOEO..Not a clue !!...Is this action normal ?. I'm going to give it to my daughter...and I don't want her to have any problems. Thanks again...JV..

Key On, Engine Off.

Pretty hard to say???? You describe it as seemed to drag. How far did you turn the wheel at the gas station? H3s have a tight radius turning ability, turn it far enough on dry pavement and it can feel strange compared to a mini van, but that does not mean something is wrong. Matter of degree.

Try this.
From it not being used very often the actuator for the Tcase can get "sticky". This has helped several people.
With the rig in neutral and foot on the brake, switch from 4HI to 4HI LOCKED to 4LOW LOCKED and back to 4HI LOCKED to 4HI about 4 or 5 times. End in 4HI (unlocked)
Listen for the "click" when it shifts the fork between positions.
Take it for a drive!

DO this at least once every 6 months.

If you turned very tight, probably normal. All a matter of degree.

I agree with Taint, cycle those T Case buttons once in a while.
