Default What brushguards do you prefer?

I have a 2006 H3, all black....I want some brushguards for city use. I want to keep the look a sleek urban black.

Right now, Aries is looking good to me but would like to know your opinions...thoughts?

Bit off topic, but who makes the light bar on the though H3 above??? And what size tires are they??

I want one!!

I too am tossing up about brush guards for my H3, considering ARB front bar, or OEM (factory) brush guard.

I like the functionality of the ARB bar, but the H3 loses some of it's H3 good looks with the ARB bar IMO. I also need driving lights, which nicely attach to the ARB bar, but not to the OEM bar. I want some IPF lights on my H3 for night driving.

Too may choices

Keep posting pictures guys, as it might help me make up my mind.

Here is my H3 as it stands today, considering rock sliders as well to replace the shiny side steps depending on the brushguard (bullbar in Australia) I decide on.

Before that I had a Steelcraft brushguard

Both guards are much stronger than the OEM which is a guard in name only. The OEM offers very little protection.
Aries guards look like the OEM but are much better made in my opinion. They offer just slightly better protection than OEM

That lightbar looks like a Hilljob (I have one on mine)
Hilljob made some custom lightbars for H3's a few years ago. They were sold on this forum. It would be very difficult to find one now. Only about 10 were ever made.
Realwheels makes something similar but it is a POS and vibrates like crazy.

Those tires look to be 315/75/16 size.

What a shame about the light bar, it looks great, any chance of some close up photos of where it mounts and how it looks, I know same talented people who might be able to make me one

Love the brush guards as well. More options are making my decision harder.

How many people have used the standard OEM brush guard available in chrome and black, I can get one pretty cheaply over here now, about 1/3rd the cost of an ARB bar, but not sure they are much good. Availability of the other bars shown here might be limited in Australia, but links on where to buy them would be great.

For looks, OEM or OEM style. For usefulness, I want an ARB winch bumper.

The flat piece slides into the track and uses the first track mounting screw

It extends to just short of the windshield trim piece and just forward of the XM antenna. It has 4 light tabs.
