Also ** Feeler** would anyone be interested in buying an H3 with 61,750 miles. Tri-state area NY. its got upgraded headlights backup camera sony carplay android auto radio clean interior and exterior some pitting on the chrome. but over all in great shape. of course i would be fixing the lines prior to sale but was wondering what its worth and who would be interested.

Finding parts for H3s is no big deal. There are only a handful that are now getting harder to find.

RockAuto has both trans cooler in stock, ACDelco less than $14 each. Order them both, do it now.

Huh? Your trans lines rotted, but it's in good shape?
NY, uses salt on the roads don't they?

There are other ways to stop the leak, but yes you do need to replace the trans cooler lines.

You can cut the line at the leak, connect them with 3/8" nitrile PVC covered or rubber fuel line and double hose clamps.... that would be a trail fix not intended for permanent repair. Then you could drive it until your parts show up. Word of caution, when you start wiggling the corroded cooler lines, you may cause leaks at other spots.

yeah i touched the clip it cracked off wiped the whole thing down. then processed with my test of turning the car on and watching the spot. pinhole size was right behind the clip shooting like a tiny water gone right in the face....I felt like one of R Kellys vicums after but now i know what im looking for. i have JB weld here so im going to cover the hole in it and grab a like 3 inch piece of hose cover it up and then zip tie it i ordered the parts

Update! cut about 2 inches off where it was rotted which was under that clip. i guess NYC salt and bad weather took its toll on the line. Got injector/ cooler line rated hose and clamped it back together securely. tested and no more leak now my issue is not knowing the level the fluid should be at when its in park or neutral. and by that i mean which one is the level check.

Nice, now you can drive it until the parts are in and you are ready to do the job.

Doesn't matter P or N. What does matter is engine running, parked on level surface, at full operating temp.
