I have a 2007 H3 that needs a new transmission…the forward sprag exploded in it a few years back…my question is will a transmission from a 2010 H3 fit in my 2007 H3. Supposedly GM replaced the forward sprag with a better sprag in the GM trucks beginning in 2010.

 

If you get a GM dealership Goodwrench transmission it will have all of the latest upgrades available for that specific transmission model.

I replaced my 4L65 in my 06 H2 at the dealer and got the latest and greatest upgrades. Worked great, and had a great warranty. When you look at the big picture you can't go wrong going this route.

At the same time I had the dealership replace the engine rear main seal and cover as the H2 had 133k on it at the time. If my 08 start to developing trans problems I will do the same thing with it.
