What I guess is that the tester used was not capable of pinpointing the original faults, so I need to get me one of the BCM testers.

Many thanks for all the help. I am now off on my travels and have left the project to my son. Once he gets the scanner and downloads the codes, I’ll be back in touch.

I took the Hummer to a small shop here in South Florida to sort out a number of issues. He discovered that the connector for the fuse had been bent over and no current passing through. This happened when the dealership replaced the fusebox last year. Don’t have the details with me but it was fuse #12 or #14 I think. When he straightened it out all the traction control came back on line.

He also sorted the problem with the seat switches. These would work forward and up and down but not backwards. Took the switches apart and sandblasted them and now I have two fully functioning seats again.

Default Shop in South Florida

Hello, I have a similar problem, I'm in south Florida as well, would you mind sharing the details of the shop you took it to? I haven't been able to find a trustworthy shop to take my 2007 h3 to get checked 😫

Have you swapped out the crappy azzed OEM battery Terminal Connectors like I suggested in your first thread? You were given a highly plausible answer, yet rather than accept it, you dug up a year old thread to ask for different answers??????????
