i just wonder what is the bigger size tire i can put on the stock 16 wheel of the 'H3' without the need of any lift kit! some guy is selling near my house a set of 4 325/75/16 ( same as a 35" he says) toyo mud terrains, does anyone know if they will be ok? i think 325 is too wide ! help pls!

 

325 is the diameter, not the width. 35s in theory should fit, but without leveling or adjusting the shocks it may be pushing it, especially in heavy articulation if you off-road.

I put 325/75/16's on mine and love them. They did rub on the inside a little when held over all the way. I put 1/4 spacer plates on all four corners and almost went away. Its not bad but held hard over right or left I get just a little bit of the rubbing of the *****. I should have gone with 3/8 or maybe even 1/2 spacer plates and there would be no rubbing at all. I still love them and I get compliments and looks all the time. Go for it and if the rubbing bothers you get some spacers, They be cheap!!

The 325 indicates this tire is 325 millimeters across from the widest point of its outer sidewall to the widest point of its inner sidewall when mounted and measured on a specified width wheel. This measurement is also referred to as the tire's section width.

This is not to be confused with the contact patch.

Finally got replacement rims and had General Grabber X3 315 x 75R16 mounted on them. What is the tire pressure that others are keeping this size tire @? I'm @45psi.

 

 

fyi nitto and toyo are made in the same factory. nitto is a a harder compound than the toyo. but basically the same damn tires almost
