Default Stereo question

I just installed the stereo in my 03 Hummer, backup camera works navigation works, the speakers work when the stereo is cold but they stopped working when the vehicle warms up. The only thing I changed was the radio itself. I put the integrator in show all the onboard buttons work.
I'm pretty sure it's the stereo, but I don't want to take it apart eight times and I was wondering if anybody had had a similar experience.

It's a Crux interface. I'll check into it.

Could this be caused by the 8 ohm speakers with now a 4 ohm stereo?

It seems to be something stopping working when it warms up. I'm not enough of a stereo guy to know a lot more.

Thank you very much.
I bought it through crutchfield and they should have caught that. But maybe not.

Speakers ohms will not matter as those are still not powered by the aftermarket stereo..... The speakers will still be powered by the factory Bose amp under the center console. Unless of course that was removed but that is not often done as it is a far more invasive process and requires manually extending all of the speaker wiring from the floor up into the dash, etc.

The harness still looks factory. I'm wondering if it's the Crux interface or the radio that failing.

Could be either. I've never even heard of Crux interfaces before and I've been a pretty avid user of aftermarket stereos for the past 30+ years.... Metra, Axxess, PAC, and Maestro (for 08+) are the ones I've always heard of. PAC ones I've seen many times get buggy. On mine I used a Metra GMOS and SWC steering wheel control ones and have never had a single problem. Same ones in my Sierra, wifes Tahoe, and a Silverado we have as well.
