Steering Wheel Vibration at Idle
I just had the upper and lower steering shaft and engine mounts replaced and now the steering wheel is vibrating worse than it was before. Not really noticeable while driving, but you can see and hear what it?s doing while at an idle. Park, Reverse, and Drive are about the same and the vibration is maybe half as bad when in Neutral.
Ideas? Suggestions?
Thanks,
Eric

Check that your front differential bushing bolt is not rubbing up against the engine oil pan; if it is, it will make an atrocious vibration that can be felt throughout the car and will vary with intensity depending on how fast you’re going and which way you’re turning.
