Hi Friends,
I have Hummmer H3 2006. I am having a strating problem with my Hummer. When i starting in the morning there is no problem.
But, when i go shopping and try to start after one hour, there is crank and will not start and keep try to start it will strat after 5/6 time. I have already change my Starter Motor and Battery. Also checked alternator.
It would be appreciated in anyone expreience the same, can help me to find the reasons / solution for this strating problem.

is there an error indication? Does the lock blink red on the dash?

 

Yes. Red Battery Light.

 

if only the red lock blinks on the panel and there are no other messages (checkin), then you need to reflash the brain. remove the default protection. the resistance in the ignition lock is not showing correctly. I disabled this feature. a lot of people had problems with it.

 

Are you still trying to use the Crappy Azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors? If so, hack them off immediately and replace with a quality aftermarket set like Stingers or your favorite brand. #! first mod to do to any H3/H3T as the OEMs all fail, every one of them, known issue that causes many electrical Gremlins.

Then look into GM Passlock.............. search it out.

 

Would it be due to "Crankshaft Position Sensor" problem?

 

Certainly. But you should then have an error on this issue.
I also recommend checking the fuel pressure. And fuel trim. If the nozzles are pouring heavily, then there will be the same symptoms.
