Default Shreveport Sticker

I just noticed that my 07 H3X has the original Shreveport Sticker on the door frame. I have heard about these but never actually seen one until I found mine! Great bit of history.

Cool. Where on the body did you find it?

I wonder if they just randomly put them on, or did they all gear them and over time were taken off or just wore off?

According to the former GM Shreveport employees, all H3 Hummers got one! Most have simply worn off because it got dirty, wet or damaged. I imagine that they are pretty rare and those still remaining are not very good quality. I am fortunate because the two previous owners took excellent care of the H3X. Doc Olds and Hummerz know far more than I do about these stickers.

I didn't get 1!

2 issues with the above sticker:

#1- The Graphic Communications International Union (GCIU) merged On January 1, 2005 becoming Graphic Communications Conference (GCC)

#2- GM would not promote a local (2166):

GM assembly sticker:

Okay, so you didn't get one.
The vast majority of us have no earthly idea what these stickers truly signify. I would "assume" it had to do with a quality program. Maybe not. But, if the sticker attached to the door frame of my H3X Hummer was in fact applied at the Shreveport factory, it speaks to the attention the previous two owners gave this vehicle. We can trace the owners back to the Odessa/Midland area for the first owner. The second owner was in the Amarillo area and I purchased it from the Mercedes dealer in Lubbock. A lot of time for something to happen to that sticker! But, it's still there, as we can see.

So are you saying someone outside of GM made this sticker and stuck them in Hummer door jambs?

Read my message again, please. I am only telling you what I know and have learned from other sources. I make no claims as to who attached the sticker.

My 2010 H3T only has this sticker. All of our various H3/H3Ts have had the same sticker. None ever had the yellow one anywhere.
