Serv tpm
I inflate my tires to 38psi (Nitrogen) as Doc Olds and many others here have mentioned to do. Haven’t had issues in the past but this year I’ve noticed that every time I park outside for a while and it’s below zero (C), the SERV TPM message comes on and the indicator light flashes then goes solid. If I press the wand the message goes away but the solid indicator symbol stays lit.
if I shut the car off then start it after, it goes away and doesn’t come back. Seems to only be the first time after parking out in the cold initially.
any thoughts? Far as I know the original sensors are on there (10 years old now), and I know they’re rated for 10 years. But would a reset or something help? I get my tires rotated every 10k but have never had to reprogram.

Only thing you can do is check the tire pressure so that all 4 on the ground are all the same 38 PSI cold. The TPMS are triggered when any one tire monitored falls appx 5-10% below the others.
If you have a rim that has bead corrosion, when it is cold out, that tire will loose PSI faster than others w/o corrosion. Cold whether saps more battery juice too. After a few minutes of driving the batteries warm up and send a stronger signal. Symptoms of wore out TPMS sensors.
Bottom line, like RKSmith said, time for new sensors

Had to replace a sensor when mine did the same thing. Was able to perform a re-learn with the frequency exciter tool, but would get the error again when it became cold outside. Used a Tech 2 to read out which sensor was not reporting, replaced that and has been no problem for almost two years now.
is a video in YouTube how to mate all the sensors. If you dont hear the horn beep once after letting air out for 10 secs it isn't mated. They have to be. Its easy to do but hardly anyone knows about this it seems
