Default SERV 4WD Message

Hello, I have a SERV 4WD show up on my cluster then shortly after the rear axles locks flash random flashes then stops till I start the hummer again.
also randomly I’ll get another message traction failed Stab System failed as soon as I put the hummer in gear and move it goes away.

I had a code show up and only showed B1000 ECU malfunction

Is there anyone who can please help me no mechanics can help me here believe me I tried.

I would try the simple things first.

Unplug and clean the following connections:
*4x4 control panel in the center stalk, make sure NONE of the buttons are stuck also.
*Transfer case actuator
*Front and rear locker connections (don't know what you have since you didn't provide a model year)
*PCM, ECM, TCM (don't know what you have since you didn't provide a model year)
*BCM, check for moisture if you have a sunroof

If it's a 2009 H3/H3T and has a locker it will ALWAYS have 2 lockers (Front & Rear) from the factory. 2006-2008 will ONLY have 1 locker (Rear).
Post a photo of your 4x4 control center and we can tell you what you have.
Also a photo of your door sticker showing the recommended tire pressure.

My rego/vin says 2009 but I did find a Sticker saying it was built 2008, now I’m confused lol not sure what model I thought it was adventure but it might be luxury.

also all the 4WD hi and lock and rear lock work!! Just don’t know about the error message every time I start the hummer

Been down this road lol!

I highly recommend to start by testing each wheel speed sensor. After you have verified that each wheel speed sensor is in fact functional, then it is time to test for continuity in the wiring harness.
Go from each rear wheel and test from the body side connection to the next point in the harness further towards the front. Your going to need the wiring schematic. Like wise the front harnesses.
After this will come the actuator motor control unit. Testing the harness for it also.

Start with this and report your findings.

You are fine. The confusion is Taint assumed you had a USA built 2009 H3, S. African built H3s play by different rules. They even put the steering wheel on the wrong side.

Yep, didn't know it was a SA build. Looks like they have totally different option packages available per year VS the US built H3/H3Ts.
