Default Restoring Body Control Module (BCM) to factory settings.

Hello!
H3x, 2007, 100k~ miles.

My little journey with H3 and small hope of restoring it!

Year in as owner, I got to figure my way around wiring ****ups done to car and aftermarket modifications.
I removed installed LPG system, common thing here to to save fuel...
My local mechanic(rarity around here) helped me out.

Saved a bit of weight! Also transfer case motor was rusted to hell, replaced!
+ Cables and cables and cables of unknown origin everywhere.
Also, guys who installed LPG system did left intake manifold not properly seated, air was going in...

Have an aftermarket media device, someone did a real good job there, chimes does not work, lights did not work, static on speakers, the best!

Fixed lights(local mechanic)!
Will buy GMOS-04 in few months and will try to sort this mess out.

Heater blower also gave out, moisture corroded connectors and remaining bits burned out, resistor also looks funky(what meth does to you).
Cleaned it all up and made it work, but is marked to be replaced ASAP.

Under the wheel, inside dashboard was the real gem.
Someone rigged up parking sensors to the front of car and had long *** cables tucked there!
And sometimes if stars align, parking sensor works! Not sure if H3 need them in front, fairly easy to see dimensions.

Took it all out, folded, marked, separated all that junk and put it back as best as I can, will remove it one day as I don't see need for front parking sensors, the thud says when to stop.

For reasons unknown car does not have original FOB's, but aftermarket ones.
By investigating jungle inside dash under wheel I found a box similar to this(sorry, did not took picture, bad habit):
Keys I have looks cheaper than ones on this illustrative picture.

Cables tapped everywhere, doors, brakes, all kinds of places.

As I understand "Body Control Module" is linked with original keys I don't have.
This is what I have(15951589):

Now I have a task to restore semi-original functionality of all that mess.
Can I just buy "Key less Entry Key", like: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=5822166 ?
And program it with my BCM?
There is no dealership in my country, most mechanics will say **** off when they hear I have H3, what is approximate requirement to do this?

Or easier to just buy new BCM from RockAuto with keys and plug&play?

Thanks and have a nice day!

Additionally, due to some electrical problems, functions of error codes pop up sometimes, randomly.
Had fuse box with lots of green corrosion, replaced!

B0790 - investigating
P0717 - fixed after transmission rebuild

B2583 - fixed after replaced fuse box
C0276 - fixed after replaced fuse box

Also, found a screwdriver(horrible sound)!
Sorry for horrible sound!

Oh dear lord! An electricians nightmare. The BCM is programed using a GM Tech 2 scan tool. Other scan tools may also be used but I'm unsure. They won't be cheap. Try Autel? All the memory that's in the BCM should still be in there. Buying a new one would require it to be programmed with the above scan tool. New BCMs arrive with no information on them and things like engine type, transimision type, TPMS sensors, security and other options are some of the things on the BCM. Generally aftermarket alarms, remote starts and key fobs just piggyback existing wires and don't affect the BCM. I have never tried to get new remote FOBs. Do a search on this site you might be able to find out if there is a way to get new FOBs working without scan tool. Living in another country without access to a GM dealer will prove to be an obstacle and I would recommend getting a complete scan tool for your H3.
Good luck and godspeed.

Update!
Ordered 2 FOB's off from ebay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Replaceme...o/222265771688

I could pair them with truck using Autel MaxiAP200 easily!

I can lock unlock truck with new remote keys easily.
One problem, only driver door unlocks with remote, all doors lock, I guess it is something to do with installed aftermarket security.

Need free weekend at some point to remove aftermarket security.
Already removed some 10+ feet of cables, trimmed rear camera cables, soldered horrible cable joins.

.
.....aftermarket security??? when you push unlock on the OEM Fob just the driver door unlocks. Push unlock again within 3 seconds and the other three doors should unlock. When lock is pushed, all doors should lock. That is how it is supposed to work.

Thanks Doc!
I thought something is wrong again, as aftermarket security system unlocks all doors at same time.
I re-read manual two times today("Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)System Operation") and somehow managed to skip part of how it unlocks, brain did not register.
I assumed that all remote keys work the same way as my aftermarket system.

Just an FYI on programming the RKE once you get everything worked out.

Done!
Aftermarket security removed.
Some random cables.

More cables!

Bucket of cables removed!

Took two days to remove whole dash, take off cabling, make sure existing cables are well off and put it all back.
What a hassle.

At least original fobs work, car works, no more cable jungle.

Had this weird fuse for two cables going into BCM, not sure for what it was, left it without fuse.

Would be nice to find BCM diagram to see what those cables do!

Also, one of cables was just cut, soldered it back together, no idea what that cable does.

Great success, never again! (hopefully)

What a mess the previous owner caused.
BTW,
Three orange wires and hot at all times and fused (#14, 20, & 66)
The pink with white tracer is headlamp relay.
There are multiple light blue wires, door locks, abs, brake lights, parking brake switch, door ajar, turn signal.. depends on what pin number?

Thanks @hummerz
Will save this and do some inspection at some time, definitely needs some more work somewhere, rear passenger doors do not trigger dome lights.

Will trace that.

Thank you again!
