OK, I have a dumb question. I'm pretty sure I know the answer but thought I'd ask before I break something.

I need to replace the lights in my floorboard on both driver and passenger sides. I cannot for the life of me get those stupid bulbs out. I have wriggled and pulled to the point where I thought they were going to break and still can't get them out. So is there a trick to getting these bulbs out, or just pull harder?

 

To remove a wedge base bulb from its socket, no turning is necessary. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket. For safety, use a rag or glove to protect your hand in case the bulb breaks.

Take a small strip of duct tape and wrap around bulb leaving a 'tail' to pull on. Works every time.
