Default Removal of old rental car computer

Does anyone know how to safely remove a "Hertz" rental car company computer resting on top of my stock 2006 H3 stereo unit?

might just be a GPS tracker. I had one on a vehicle I had purchased a while back I just unplugged it. then followed the wires back from it and removed those as well.

Gps tracker to make sure you make all your payments.
I've never seen 1 on any of my vehicles that I've purchased over 40yrs.

My main concern is that the tracking unit would cause the vehicle to be disabled. It was likely installed by Hertz and would have been approved by Hummer as a fleet vehicle for warranty purposes. The vehicle has been owned by at least two other people since then. It might be a little different than a standard tracker.

Here are a few pictures from the outside. That's an old shop that I work at thats been open since 1939. I make drivetrain tooling.

I believe the oem gps antenna is attached to the Hertz tracker.

You can see the GM tower in Detroit behind the vehicle.

Not sure because I haven't tried it. The unit has instructions to hook up the cables in a specific order. That made me concerned that I might lock the vehicle somehow.
